Welcome

Welcome to the Cahir Social and Historical Society website. It should be of service to anyone who has an interest in the history of the Heritage Town of Cahir, in South Tipperary, and its surrounding District.
Our Society was founded in 1996.  Aside from activities such as lectures, conferences and field trips, the CSHS has established an archive and acted as an advocate for the preservation of the area's heritage.
Our Management Committee determines and organises the Society’s programme of events.
